If you have been following my work for anytime, you have likely heard me say that how you prepare for your photo session is one of the biggest predictors of the success of the session… Styling your family photo session like a pro truly makes your gallery stand out in a sea of “oh those are nice” and become the “OMG! Those are stunning!” portraits.
But trying to pull together the looks for you family is overwhelming if it isn’t what you do everyday. Luckily, it is what I do everyday. My sessions start long before the day I show up with my camera. Creating a vision with my clients and helping them to prepare everything from wardrobe to hair & make up is all part of creating the end heirloom art pieces that my clients receive. But it does take some pre-thought from them even before we start talking. That is where this guide comes into play. This is a tool I created for my clients to help them prepare for their consultations with me and I am sharing it with you so that you can utilize it was well.
