There is something so magically about the early days in a new families life. No one has had much sleep. Everyone is trying to figure out feedings. Diaper changes take two parents. And with all the bleary-eyed learning, everything is still just perfect whenever gazes fall onto that sweet baby girl.
This sweet family reminded me of the days when pink ruled in my home and I just love being transported to those early days. As I type, my own little guy sleeps on my lap (as he often does while I work) and no longer fits snuggly in – rather legs drape over legs and his head weighs heavy on my arm. It’s amazing how quickly they go from tiny little beings to chubby rugrats and beyond. I am so thankful that I am able to be transported back to those early moments whenever I photograph a new family.
