It’s no secret that I have a bit of a Sephora obsession. It started young with all the Urban Decay eyeshadows I could get my hands on and over the years has shifted more to the skin care aisles but I am still hitting Rouge VIB status with ease every year. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise to see another round of Sephora product reviews.

Let’s start with my tried and true favorites, shall we?

Sunday Riley Good Genes

Sunday Riley Good Genes is hands down a “holy grail” product for me.

Y’all this is a cult favorite for a reason. I cannot exactly pinpoint what it is but the stuff is amazing. I am sure Kathleen Jennings can give you all the sciency research reasons that it’s so good but I will stick with why I love it.

First, it glides on my skin and feels uber-luxurious and silky at first touch. Then I get a slight tightening feeling, like it’s actually shrinking my pores and wrinkles. But the best part is that my skin looks so much more radiant and refreshed when I use it. My last bottle was basically empty before we headed to the beach last week so I decided to just leave it behind. Three days into the trip I was completely regretting that decision. I hopped on my Spehora app to order more so that it would be waiting for me when I returned home – spurring this entire haul. It’s that good.

Sunday Riley ICE Creamide

I bought this for the first time a little while back with another Sephora haul and quickly became obsessed. This stuff is thick! And good. I have a slight habit to over exfoliate and leave my skin tender and a teeny bit raw (thank you Alex at 987Aesthetics for pinpointing that during our consult!), but Sunday Riley ICE comes to the rescue when I realize I’ve done it again. I will sub it in for my Luna Night Oil and give my skin a night of pure hydration. Love. Love. Love it.

it Cosmetics Lash Blow Out

Lash Blow Out was recommended to me over and over again by followers when I asked for their favorite it Cosmetics products and I can see why. This mascara is good stuff. The photos above are before and after of applying. It glides on smooth and isn’t clumpy at all. It also has great buildablity (that’s not a word but whatever!). I like that it thickens and curls my lashes well, two features I am always looking for in mascara. It doesn’t out preform my all time favorite Lights! Camera! Action! by Tarte, but it is definitely in my top 5 all time!

Tarte SEA Color Splash Lipstick in Yatching

Okay, so this is a bit of a mixed review… I LOVE the Tarte SEA lipsticks. When Bite Cosmetics removed their lipsticks from their inventory, I was crushed. I mean, if they were not clean enough for Sephora then it was a good thing, but they were my favorites and it sent me on a search for new clean lipstick options. Enter Tarte SEA Color Splash. They are “clean at Sephora” designated and have an amazing range of colors – from my favorite bold berries to neutral nudes. The texture and finish are beautiful and they last really well – not as well as the Bite line did, but definitely some good staying power.

So that is the good. But this color just doesn’t quite work for me. There is nothing wrong with it in the abstract, it just doesn’t falter my skin tone well. It might be okay with fall looks & I do like to mix colors, so I will likely hold onto it (hoarder alert) but alone it’s not great for me.

Alright, so there are my thoughts on my latest thoughts from my recent Sephora haul. Do you have favorites I *need* to try? Drop them in the comments so I can add them to my list!

XOXO
