As a newborn photographer, my goal is always to capture early moments in your babies life that you will treasure for a lifetime. It is very rare that I photograph only your newborn. Capturing the connections between your new family makes my heart sing. But occasionally, there are circumstances when we hold off on the family photos and just concentrate on the sweet new life in the world.
Such was the case for little Mr. Jack. His mama developed a severe reaction to the medicine she was given during labor and postpartum so I made an exception and we spent the full session loving on Jack. My goal that day was not only to create some beautiful images, but to provide mom with some time to lay back, put her feet up and even sneak off to the shower. Part photographer. Part babysitter. All love for me.
In any case, I absolutely loved spending my morning with Jack and he just could not be a cuter baby! And I will be so excited when I get to go back and get those family shots.
