Meet Patton. This sweet little man is the younger brother of the adorable Greer. And he is right on track to be just as much of a heartbreaker and charmer as his big brother.
I always get extra excited when a friend from growing up contacts me to photograph their family or kids. I just love the added bonus of catching up with an old friend and seeing a piece of their current life. As if it wasn’t a treat enough, Amy wanted me to do the newborn session for her son. And the cherry on top, I already knew that big brother was super cute. A trifecta if there ever was one.
Mommy wanted to focus on sibling shots and sleepy posed Patton ones – so of course little man did not want to sleep for us. We pulled out all the tricks but he was determined to stay awake. In the end, we got the shots mama was looking for and all was well. People often wonder why a newborn session can last up to four hours. Well, this was the classic long session. Because at the end of the day, we are at the whim of our little model and their timing. And that’s perfectly okay. Because after all, it is all about baby.
And I am always happy to have a little longer time for my baby fix. 😉
Little Patton, you are just perfect. And Amy, I don’t know how you say no to either of these sweet boys ever.
XOXO
PS: What great names, right?!
