So usually I am sharing about things I already own and love, but as we sit at home with “stay-at-home” orders from our cities, I am really feeling like now is the time to give some new products and tools a whirl. I mean, what else am I going to do with the hours I’m not taking kids to all the activities?

So here is the list of products I’m hitting purchase on and planning to give a try… did I miss something you think I should try?

NuFace Mini & GloPro

If you follow Kathleen Jennings Beauty even a little you will know she has two big time beauty tool favorites – the NuFace Mini and the GloPro. Now, I am not always one to jump on a product band wagon just because someone says I should, but for me, Kathleen isn’t just someone. See, Kathleen went to law school with my husband and I am here to tell you the woman’s skin has been freakin’ amazing since back in the day. Sure, back then we were all 25 and blessed with youth, but most of us also never slept and drank too much and Kathleen’s skin still glowed. These days, when I run into her in person, it’s like she never aged. So yeah, if Kathleen says these are the tools, these are THE tools.

Of course, they aren’t cheap so I am currently debating which one I will invest in first. I figure I’m just reallocating the money I would have spent on Botox while those services are on hold. (yes, I Botox. Don’t act like you don’t…)

iT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation

I’ve been wearing the cult favorite Armani Luminous Silk foundation for about 2 years now and I fully love it… but it is $64 a pop and from what I understand, the iT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation has all sorts of goodness built in to not just diffuse my imperfections while I am wearing it but also help to prevent and correct at the same time. Plus, the Armani foundation does not offer SPF and with Houston summer fast approaching, not to mention the quarantine pool hours we have been logging, this seems like a good one to try.

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops

Did I mention that poolside time? Sure, it may just be my kids seeing me, but when swimsuit season rolls around, I like to have a nice tan glow… and I am trying my best to get that glow from a bottle these days – you know, avoiding skin cancer and aging as much as I can… I like that these Isle of Paradise drops claim to reduce the orange tint of most self tanners with violet drops to counterbalance. Seems worth trying at $29, especially since they are also “clean at Sephora” so I can feel safer about the ingredients.

Alright, that is my list for now… let me know if you have a favorite that fits what I am looking for which I should consider. I’ll report back with what I like…

XOXO
