Yes, I do love the images below. But the “favorites” part of this post has to do with the subjects in these photos.
As I mentioned here, I feel this family and I were destined to be in the lives of my family. They were among the very first to welcome us to Houston and make us feel at home here.
It’s one of those awesome friendships were the moms like each other, the dads like each other, the kids like each other! Perfection. Like I said they were meant to be in our lives.
Speaking of meant to be, because of this awesome family, I know that November is National Adoption Month. Both of these little cuties were adopted by these two loving parents.
In what has become one of many evening mom-text chats, our mutual bestie, Heather made an amazing observation. She said that “I think adoption is like God returning babies to their real parents.”
And God definitely planned for this family to be together. I am just glad that my family gets to share in the love they have for each other.
