I’ve heard it said that if you want to know what matters most to someone, look at what they photography…
In today’s world, that means a simple scroll through your photos on your phone. What do you see when you scroll your photos? Little ones laughing and being silly? Pets caught on the favorite chair? Gourmet meals plated perfectly? Screenshots of style influencers’ fashions?

While it could be easy for someone to point to me as a photographer, to see the portraits I capture of my own littles, to see the people in my life and say that must be what I love… and you would be right.
But as every time I lift the camera to my eye, I have the same goal in mind. The light is different in each home and families are as unique as individuals. But it does not matter if I am capturing a newborn or another amazing woman running her own business, that goal is always the same…
It’s the common thread and theme of my photography. And that theme is love – plain & simple.
Love that overwhelms as a new life begins and love that consumes as a family grows.
Love that encompasses friendships between siblings as kids get older and love that binds between mother and father.
Love that honors grandparents.
Love that remembers the little moments of life.
Love that never wants to forget today in the chaos of tomorrow.
Love that encourages and uplifts and love that cradles and comforts.

So sure, if you want to know what matters most to me, look at what I photograph. I hope you see all the love in every portrait, every frame and every moment…

XOXO
