My heart completely melts over big brothers loving on the new baby…
We all expect the “little mamas” to be sweet on the babies, but society tells us that “boys don’t do that”. I have to say though, I find that to be entirely untrue in this youngest generation. It is so beautiful that I see so many loving and affectionate big brothers who are not only ready to be the protector but also the nurturer…
I fully credit the dads out there right now for this modeling. I see daddies who hug and love and kiss their littles all the time. Ones who do not let mama be the only one to have magic wound healing kisses or provide comfort. I hear less “boys don’t cry” and more “come’er bud, let me help”. Our men are protecting their hearts as well as their homes. And it is so beautiful.
This particular family has a Navy SEAL daddy… clearly a strong role model in the traditional sense… but also obviously a strong role model in the modern sense as well…
Bravo to all the strong daddies out there who are raising a generation of men who will nurture and protect… Your doing it right guys…
