You will have to forgive me if things seem a little slow for a while around here… we will be trying to sleep when we can and soaking in all the sweet perfection of my newest little one to be added to our zoo… if you haven’t noticed, each of my littles has been nicknamed with an animal. I have my Monkey, my Koala Bear (“Bear”) and my Little Lion (who is quickly becoming just Lion because he isn’t so little anymore)…
So now let me “introduce” my Tiny Tiger… he joined us at 12.02AM on Oct 30th, weighing in at just a .5 ounce under 7 pounds and 20 inches long…
We had to race to beat this little guy… two weeks early and he was ready to come FAST! No time for meds, barely time for the doctor & nurses to set the table and bed for his delivery… he was just ready. And to be perfectly honest, so was I. I may love babies, but pregnancy, not so much. It’s a testament to how much I adore my babies that I have done pregnancy 4 times…
But that is a subject for another day… For now, it is all about tiny toes and tiny fingers… Giant yawns and middle of the night feedings… Soft baby skin and that sweet baby smell…
Now please excuse me while I go enjoy all of the sweet amazingness of a newborn that I get to enjoy for more than just a session… Let’s be serious, this boy is going to get some serious model work over the next few weeks… months… years… Yeah, he will have photographers child syndrome before his first words… Get ready for life with a camera little buddy…
Anyway, I’ll be back to work in the new year…
